My name is Mia Amoroso Rein, the founder and face behind The Curated Heirloom.

My passion for sourcing curated pieces started around age seven, when my parents would take me to weekend yard sales. I loved looking at all the treasures and quickly learned the art of bargaining for a good deal.

Although my childhood passion is still going strong, it has evolved over the years as I’ve grown. In 2022, I launched my vintage clothing and housewares business, The Charleston Thrift. What began as a creative outlet while I was wrapping up my senior year of college turned into a true passion. Most weekends, you can still find me selling at pop-ups all over Charleston!

After pouring loads of energy, time, and money into sourcing vintage items for my wedding in the spring of 2025, I realized there was a real need for a curated vintage rental service. The Curated Heirloom is a service that allows your vintage dreams to come true without the hassle of sourcing everything on your own.

The name “Curated Heirloom” is a nod to the love and care I put into sourcing these treasured pieces, each of which holds its own story. It brings me so much joy to see these items given a new lease on life at your personalized event!

It’s a dream come true to bring design and vintage flair to your event—and the party is only just getting started!
